Tip of the Week – How to boil the perfect egg

Spring & summer is a great time for egg salad, so boil the perfect egg:


  • 1 dozen large eggs
  • Water to cover
  • Pinch salt


Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Season with a pinch of salt. Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Immediately cover and remove from heat. Allow eggs to sit for 9 minutes. Drain and cool the eggs for 2 minutes in an ice bath. Peel & Eat!
Did you know?
The only difference between white eggs and brown eggs is the breed of the hen that laid the egg.
