Tip of the week – Grilled Veggies

It is summer and the perfect time for grilling garden fresh vegetables. Grill what comes out of your garden. Most tender fruits and vegetables can go directly on your grill to cook. It brings out the bright colors and flavors. Cut your vegetables lengthwise so they fit on the grill. Use a hot grill for a shorter cooking time so your vegetable do not dry out. Make sure grill grate is clean, and wipe with a paper towel or cloth dipped in oil. Cut fruits such as peaches in half and put cut side down, perfect served with some  ice cream and a handful of fresh raspberries. Grill until tender and enjoy!

Just for kicks, and because we LOVE to support other food bloggers, here’s a recipe we found online that looks scrumptious. Try it, and let us know what you think!

  1. We are grilling Thursday night and I was wondering what to have for dessert. It just so happens we have several peaches on the counter. Looks like all I need is marscarpone!
