Tip of the week: 3 steps for Juicy Burgers.

Did you know?

As hamburger cooks, it loses moisture. When you buy ground beef, and you see all the juice in the bottom of the package, that is lost moisture.

To make your burgers nice and juicy:

  1. add ½ cup cold water per 1 lb. of ground beef before mixing.
  2. make a small dimple in the middle of each patty to prevent the burger from bulging in the middle as it cooks.
  3. never press on a burger as it cooks; all that does is squeeze out all the juice.

Now go make yourself a nice juicy burger! Don’t forget to butter those buns before toasting them on the grill….oooh now I’m hungry. Off to the kitchen!
